The Board

The DS Board is the coordinating and representative body connecting doctoral students across departments and representing their interests within and beyond Chalmers University of Technology.​ 

The DS board is responsible for the direction and management of the daily operations of DS with the goal​ is to improve terms for doctoral students at Chalmers by:​

1. Representing doctoral students in several key boards and committees at and outside Chalmers;​

2. Identifying, preventing and eliminating structural problems;​

3. Becoming a hub for doctoral students​

We want to ensure that every doctoral student is informed, empowered, and connected. Our division is a driving force for change and opportunities. We organize inspiring events, build strong connections, represent our rights, show stands on important topics, amplify doctoral students’ perspectives within the university, and ensure that new students have a great start to their journey. We work long-term to improve the study environment, strengthen the ties between alumni and current students, and promote equality and diversity.

Together, we work to facilitate initiatives that improve the doctoral experience, and contribute to a more supportive, engaging, and connected research community.
